What a wonderful image, I love the dreamy quality, was it done with a mist/fog or blurring?

He looks very authentic....great choice on the hair, too. One never knows what to expect when coming to your gallery. Itβs always creative and real. I like that aspect so much.....
PS. Itβs the archeologist in you...π

I love linwhite's comment...(were you an archaeologist? I have a feeling that was metaphorical, but you definitely have the sensibility of that and an anthropologist, in your work)...Another human from another land, this one a warrior perhaps, but maybe he's a hunter. That weapon could be many things. I like his dark clay-like skin, with a sheen; and his stance---he looks at us but he's facing slightly to our right, as if you caught him as he was about to hunt for someone...Bright backround, with a big blue sky...And you've lined him up with the tree in back of him...your composition in these single portraits is always very strong. Also, I like his braids on one side, paralleled by the strokes of his face paint....Another fine and wholly unexpected solo portrait from you, with a lot of light and mystery. (The red loin cloth is a fine contrast too...)

Thanks Mark for your comment--your comments are always a pleasure to read :) Yes, I am an anthropological archaeologist, or I should say was one. Go into my "photo album" to see a photo of me while working at Gordion (Turkey) and some shots of me in a Cahokia Museum Diorama. Those were wonderful days!
