Another of your classic book covers...it has the feel of a 19th century romance. Very moody atmosphere, with all that blue and gray in the sky...and great details! The woman's eye peering from the cosmos, the howling wolf (or dog), the stars and lit clouds, etc. And beautiful use of that old stone stairway, with flowers in bloom. And your model stands out, in that powerful crimson satin gown---a color that sets her apart like gangbusters. The cat is perfect, as it stares at us like stone (and I love the lantern too: in full view, it's very rich with those luminous butterflies). And she has little 'pearls' on her face...
Beautifully done. You have a way with color, composition, visual depth and design that knocks me out. ("The cat's pajamas"---a saying from the 1920's.) Terrific. Plus: I like the author's name...
