Whelp. I was going to wait a bit, work on some stuff, and then start on issue two. But last night I just sorta gotta into a good flow and got this done. So... I guess it's started. I do have to go back and fix a problem with the last page. I forgot something. It should just be a simple matter of adding a later to fix it though. I'll be sure to let folks know when I fix it so they can see - I don't plan on posting it a second time. I may also have to retitle things to include the issue number, followed by a page number. Just to simplify. Hmm. The quest continues I guess! I think having to wait to see the payoff for this page might ruin the pace just a bit, but since I wasn't planning on doing it yet, I guess it can't be helped. Then again, who knows. Maybe tonight I'll get the urge to do the next one. Tomorrow I turn 34. All the plans I made for the occasion have fallen through, so the new plan is pretty much to stay in PJs and do as little as possible all day. Trying not to feel too hurt by the friends that canceled, or the friends I haven't heard from in too long. I don't know. It's been several years of lonely birthdays usually marked by Mom either being in the hospital, or preparing for surgery. This year is no different. There's a whole mess of appointments to get to ahead of a major surgery she needs. Anyways, things might get a little out-of-order, as I want to do "covers" for each issue. I've got ideas for issue one cover, and an sparkle of a thought for issue two. I think the best thing would be to fix numbering so when I do a cover image it's all coherent. Let me know what you think! Let's see. Armor is "Order of the Wolf" from Daz. Helms are from "Helms of History for genesis 2," Daz Horse 2, Environment is "The Back Gate" and a plane given the same texture as what came on the ground cover for the "Back Gate" so I could extend it backwards. I didn't know this set was such a minimal facade when I got it. It loads fast, but that does limit what I can do here. At least it came with some nice barrels! Spears are from "Spears of Destiny" and I forget exactly where the staff came from. I know the mage is wearing one set, while his staff came from another. I think it was a cleric set. I might change it. Or at the least, I think each mage/wizard we meet will have a different one. Now, if I could just get the CrossDresser app to recognize licenses that came with characters purchased from the Daz store, I'd say I was having a decently productive day!
