Description
No humour or my unusual uploads today.
A sad and somber day for Coco and America as well as for Snowflake VFD as they pay tribute to
the many first reponders who ran to the horrific scene and lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Many people died that day and the days following.
I remember that day well and was shocked, saddened and angered. Throughout the day
Canadian airports received many aircraft because they had nowhere to land in the U.S.
Gander, Newfoundland had 69 planes land there that day. A monument was unveiled there today
on the 20th anniversary.
We gladly helped our neighbours without question and would/will do so again.
If you have been following any of my uploads you may know that Coco is an American now living in Canada and that is
why she holding the Stars and Stripes.
I wasn't sure which category to place this in and Memorial is reserved as far as I know.
My name isn't on this one as I wanted all attention to be on the scene not the person who made the image.
