First, it's an amazing shot of mire-covered water. That surface seems like metal. Or some kind of flat stone. In face, if the swan weren't there, or the branches or plants in the upper section, this could be an aerial shot of a long, flat continent (with rivers, lakes, etc).
The swan is other-worldly, here, especially with that long shadow. It seems to be moving in a mire. It's almost an abstract photo, and it's beautiful. And the surface has a silvery sheen, or tarnished brass sheen. Beautifully seen, Christian.
