Good evening my friends, I thank you for your visit and for leaving a little comment!
Such knife attacks are the order of the day in our city and in the south of the country since several weeks, where people no longer dare to leave the house in the early evening, where I live it is still quiet, but I have a pepper spray in my jacket pocket just in case, although it is forbidden in our country, but I don't give a damn, I won't let myself be stabbed by such an animal!!!!

Saw this one in Galleries before getting a notice it had posted and thought "that's a little dark for Ute." I have an acquaintance friend of a friend who's a cop in Stockholm citing the same problems. They won't prosecute girls using pepper spray in defense.
As bad as it is over there, it's not like Baltimore, or Chicago where it's routine for 50-100 people to be shot over a weekend, and some are little kids.
Do what you have to do to keep safe, Ute. If it weren't quiet here I'd have kept my legal Thompson SMG....

With us you can not buy weapons like in the USA, otherwise I would have already bought one, for sure! I wouldn't bat a tired eyelash to shoot such a nasty guy into his stupid pear!

Der Titel erinnert mich an einen Film von 1958 " Es geschah am hellichten Tag" nach einem Drehbuch von Friedrich Dürrenmatt mit Gert Fröbe,Heinz Rühmann und anderen. Es geht da aber um ein kleines Mädchen. Es ist schon seltsam mit Erinnerungen ein Titek und der ganze Film ist wieder vor meinem geistigen Auge. Die obrige Szene ist wirklich fantastisch gemacht,auch der Regen passt hervoragen dazu,mit einem Wort überragend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is horrible to hear Dear Ute. What I can share with you is this: "situational awareness" or simply paying close attention to your 360 degree surroundings can save your life. Don't get distracted by cell phones or any other modern marvels. Keep your head up and keep looking around you as you move. Pepper Spray has worked for me in the past. Just make sure you keep a fresh supply with you. Over time it will loose air pressure in the canister. So it may appear full but it is really useless. Replace at least once a year. Above all, distance is your friend. Be forceful and loud in demanding that strangers keep a distance from you. Keep them at a distance that you can't be reached by legs or arms.
Also, be looking for what can be an improvised weapon. A pointed walking stick or a good quality cane, can be formidable if you take some time to learn jab with it and swing it. A persons knees are particularly vulnerable to a hard whack. Palm strikes, palm to chin, fingers 'flick hitting' into the eyes with the finger tips can end it quick also.
I hate to have to talk like this but I want you to consider your options and never be the victim.

Non è che stiamo dando troppo a questi ragazzi?Il detto "si stava meglio quando si stava peggio" forse è vero?
