Description

My silver Labrador Retriever passed away a couple of years ago. It's his birthday today (September 16). He used to entertain himself by putting a tennis ball on the couch and just sitting there and watching it. Eventually he'd shift or move his paw and the ball would roll. He'd grab it quickly and put it back and wait again. Created in Maya and rendered in Arnold. This is my first interactive Xgen groom. It's not perfect but I learned a lot. I will probably edit a few areas at some point when I have the patients to wait for the render to finish. Hair render indoors with several diffuse bounces is quite long. Comments greatly appreciated.

Beautiful Render! Yeah, me too have a few birthdays during the year of passed away pets. While the birthday often makes me smile, the day of their death makes me sad.

Love his face impression. You can really see him thinking..."have to be calm" :D
