I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

she looks a little sickly ... she should get out into the sun and get some vitamin D ... LOL - otherwise cool!

The character is fighting cancer, soooo...
Thanks for having a look!

Actually, I think she looks a little overheated.

Thanks. I sure hope so. I think I've sold exactly one copy of the first book, and I'm working on the second. Only thing I can do is keep going.

Again, she is battling cancer. So it makes sense. Thanks for the look!

Grrr, was she frozen for about 10,000 years (from the color) and now she can no longer find its way around our planet!?!
LyleAryn
I'm finding folks don't read the description, lol. She is battling cancer in the book.

Really well done - she does look like she's been doing some serious working out, and the shirt looks great. Sounds like quite a fascinating story.

Thanks. Maybe once I get a couple more of the series done somebody will actually buy the first one, lol!
In the story it's over 100* and she just came from the trailer she lives in with her alcoholic mom, so she's overheated. Which is REALLY bad when you're battling cancer.
