Description
I counted 19 repairs on the dryline vapor block with an upper area that has mold. on the roof shingles there is over spray and the wood frame windows already has damage to the wood.
I did not look on the other side. I made a mistake in moving into a town home style apartment in Houston. not something that I will repeat
I finished sacking the remaking branches and all is left is to drill holes in the tree stump and apply a chemical to cause it to rot

With all those problems, I'm glad that's not my house!

You should report that Richard. It is so blatantly BAD workmanship! It will cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to rectify once the structure is complete!

It would be a perfect exercise to create a simple architecture in a 3D software and afterwards apply textures plus adding some simple 3D trees you find as freestuffs! I appreciate the persective correction of vertical lines.

given all the storms that are about, I become even more convinced that a concrete dome laid over an inflatable is the way to go, congrats on the tree

From a dead horse I just step down, period. No conferences, no callings to help-desk.
Excellent photo.

Looks half done.

Time to compile a snagging list me thinks :)

It's a matter of "slap it together as quickly and cheaply as possible, then charge the end user a fee that would bankrupt a small country..." Quality is dead, and greed is alive and healthy. Looks like a blow-torch and some dynamite is in order with this one...
Cool shot, Richard!

yeah, this is a problem. I'm always amazed at how many backgrounds you have, including construction and repair...you've lived many lifetimes: I would see this and see problems, but with none of the detail you see automatically. I don't blame you for not wanting to own a place with problems again. The photo, however, is terrific: Everything that makes the house a mess makes the photo a great visual: That side wall with nothing but those dryline sheets is a visual slap in the face. And the dormer (without window) is so blank and bleak. The side is in shadow, too, which makes it all the more bleak. And there doesn't appear to be anything on either side of the house---at least close to it---so it looks like it's standing alone. (Your crop makes it look that way.) I love the shot, even though I don't love the condition. As a shot, it looks like a freak of nature, and it's truly fascinating.
Well I'm at 50 minutes here, so I'll stop for now (I don't know why anyone would want to read a ton of my comments in one sitting!)...I'll be back soon though...

Here more houses are also wood framed, but still brick and mortar is the primary construction choice. It was interesting to see that a neighbor is building his house out of old shipping containers.
