Thank you. :)

No need to enter into the understanding of what turns our real lives upside down to be touched by a strong image, like this one. Expressing oneself through an image means being able to place in front of oneself, and at a certain distance, what we sometimes carry as a burden that prevents us from moving forward. Sharing this image does not necessarily mean offloading this weight, but knowing that other people understand what makes the expression of our humanity so overwhelming. Keep up your courage and take care of yourself.

Thank you very much for your words.

When someone is going through hard times two things can happen to creativity: you either lose all inspiration and block your creative side, or you use it as an outlet. You have put all your emotions in this piece (as you have done before) and the result is outstanding. It hit me right in the feels because I have been there, I know what it means, and I know I can't do much to help you although I would if I could. I can't really add much more because marcopol basically said it all. Be strong, you will get through this... an immense hug to you Lizzie <3

Thank you, you know I'm trying. :) Art is my favorite therapy for helping me get through all this.

Well, I have no clue, what happened in your life, but I went through such feelings as well two years ago. I know how it feels, when everything you thought would be the support of your life suddenly crumbles and you discover, that it just was a card house... I'm still sort of "sitting on that table, looking at all the fallen cards on it and figuring out, how it could happen and what makes now sense to me and what not. Wish you lots of strength and many loving people on your side, who can help carry your burden (whatever it might be). You are not alone!

Thank you so much for your words. It always feel good to hear that I am not alone as I often feel that way.

Been there, done that... More times than I care to remember... Thinking of you, and hoping things improve soon for you, Lizzie..
I think a lot of us are going through this right now - these are dark days. With the pandemic, all the political chaos, and all the other insanity going on, it just amplifies the feelings of hopelessness. But it's always darkest just before the dawn.
Stay strong, my friend. You are not alone.
Your art really reflects the feelings of despair. Superbly done.

Brilliant re mood ! I am mid seventy. One of the gifts we artist have is the ability to express emotions through art. The trick is to catch your self, in your own opinion ,depressed, and break the depression by consciously changing your mood. Whenever i hit the dumps i look at comics on Youtube or play up tempo music or Make Art !
