Description
Legend has it that Lady Godiva, wife of the Earl of Mercia wanted her husband to stop levying harsh taxes on the towns folk. He said he would lower taxes only if she rode a horse naked through the city of Coventry.
She took him at his word but on condition that nobody watched her under the threat of death.
One local called Tomas could not resist a peek and so the term 'Peeking Tom' was derived.

Lol, love this! And I love the strategic placement of the braids and saddle thingy. The expressions of both Lady Godiva and the horse are just perfect and so comical. I actually did not know this story.

Hilarious...excellent image (and story), top level POV, sharp render...all in all I'd give this image 10* but...but...there is this saddle which hides the most beautiful part of Lady Godiva !!! (a bit skinny in my HO)

Nice take on that story. Very thoughtful of you to make Milady rather skinny, otherwise it would have needed a bigger hairdo and a more elaborate saddle horn.

This is really outstanding! I'd forgotten where the 'peeping Tom' originated - now I think about it, I read that somewhere years ago.
