Description
the second live oak to become fire wood. not for me, as I do not like the smell. I gave 80 percent to a friend and the remaining to the trash .
I was concerned about someone falling on an acorn on the sidewalk

Think how much daylight you'll achieve! Sad to see the old tree go!

It's very sad,to see this old tree go; It is not your fault if someone falls over an acorn on the sidewalk, they should open her eyes!!!!!!!!!!!

the beginning of what happens in the next image. It's a beautiful tree, esp against that clear blue sky (with beautiful white clouds). A dear friend was in Iowa when a derecho hit, last summer (an inland hurricane, as I understand it): Whole trees ripped right out of the ground...and they filled up whole yards. One can see the mercy of taking a tree down piece by piece. Sweet light and detail in this shot.

Interesting shot of this tree's last stand. I have a big one right next to the house I'd like to get rid of, but probably won't spend the money on. We're already spending a ton on this place to get it ready to sell.
That's really considerate of you, Richard. Wish more folks would follow your example.
