Edsel was a brand of automobile that was marketed by the Ford Motor Company from the 1958 to the 1960 model years. Deriving its name from Edsel Ford, son of company founder Henry Ford, Edsels were developed in an effort to give Ford a fourth brand to gain additional market share from Chrysler and General Motors.

I remember Edsels well...if I recall, they didn't last long (right? that's how I remember them, at least), because they were a bit too far out for the time. But this shot brings out the sweep of the thing, and I love the two blues mixed with those red tail lights and white wall tires. You got a wonderful sweep of this cloistered interior.

Edsel was the classic that came before its time. Imagine if you would have had X number of these cars packed safely away in temp/humidity controlled storage somewhere only to unveil them today. What price would they command?
