Description
Nach einigen Jahren kehrt der Kartenspieler Jake wieder zurück in das Dorf in dem er einmal eine Glückssträhne hatte. Es war heiß draußen, außergewöhnlich still und keinen Vogel hörte man zwitschern. Vorsichtshalber zog er sein Waffe und begab sich in den Saloon. Niemand war da außer dem Barmädchen, das ihn nicht ganz nett begrüßte: „Na du blauäugiger schräger Vogel, was hat dich denn wieder hier in dieses verlassene Kaff getrieben? Hier ist nichts mehr los seitdem unser Klavierspieler von so einem Idioten wie du einer bist, erschossen wurde. Danach fielen auch deine anderen Freunde, die ständig mogelnden Burschen einer Kugel zum Opfer! Also was machst du hier, hau ab bevor es zu spät ist, denn auf dich wartet schon die nächste Kugel, aber diesmal ist es eine Schrotflinte, sauf noch einen auf meine Kosten, dann fällt dir das Sterben sicher leichter“!
After several years, card player Jake returns to the village where he once had a lucky streak. It was hot outside, exceptionally quiet and not a bird could be heard chirping. As a precaution, he drew his gun and went into the saloon. No one was there except the barmaid, who greeted him not very nicely: "Well, you blue-eyed weirdo, what brought you back here to this deserted dump? There's been nothing going on here since our piano player was shot by an idiot like you. After that, your other friends, the ever-cheating fellows, also fell victim to a bullet! So what are you doing here, get out before it's too late, because the next bullet is already waiting for you, but this time it's a shotgun, have another drink at my expense, then it will be easier for you to die"!
Après plusieurs années, Jake, un joueur de cartes, revient dans le village où il a eu un jour de la chance. Il faisait chaud dehors, c'était exceptionnellement calme et on n'entendait pas un seul oiseau gazouiller. Par précaution, il a sorti son arme et est entré dans le saloon. Il n'y avait personne, sauf la barmaid, qui l'a salué pas très gentiment : "Eh bien, drôle d'oiseau aux yeux bleus, qu'est-ce qui t'a ramené ici, dans cette décharge déserte ? Il ne se passe plus rien ici depuis que notre pianiste a été abattu par un idiot comme toi. Après ça, tes autres amis, les éternels tricheurs, ont aussi été victimes d'une balle ! Alors qu'est-ce que tu fais ici, sors avant qu'il ne soit trop tard, parce que la prochaine balle t'attend déjà, mais cette fois c'est un fusil de chasse, bois un autre verre à mes frais, alors ce sera plus facile pour toi de mourir" !

Very glamorous barmaid - very well dressed considering everything is so run down! ! Great characters and scene. But I'm not sure how he could draw his gun when it is clearly a shotgun and not a revolver. It's die Waffe, isn't it?

You got a hardcore Western narrative, and your image captures it perfectly. In fact, the barmaid reminds me a little of Mae West, in her speech and in her posture. She stands firmly, unafraid of this gunslinger...and she's ready to take him on. Terrific lighting---it's a scene out of a film. And you managed to make both their outfits stand out, even though both outfits are dark, in a darkly lit room. Also, a beautiful orange-red tint to the scene, in the wood and in the light. And I love those old 19th C photos---19th C porn!---to lure the men into the bar. And the lineup of old liquor bottles...and the barmaid has great platinum-gold hair. She may be a barmaid, but she stands like a queen. Great job on this, Ute.
