Description


Rubble asteroids are comprised of smaller masses (boulders, pebbles, gravel, and dust) held together by that weakest of forces, gravity. Differential heating can cause them to spin, causing them to break apart, and then the pieces reassemble again in a different configuration. For those wanting a souvenir, pieces of rubble asteroids are ideal. These items were modeled and rendered in Vue.

Thank you very much! The asteroid is a Vue metablob made out of three spheres (I probably should have used more) and covered with a Vue ecosystem for the rubble. And just like the real object, some of the rocks are floating…
