Description
In an inspired move, Plato suggested that everything could be made out of triangles (which, as 3D artists, we know to be true), and five particular shapes, the Platonic Solids, were not only made out of triangles but were the basis for the Elements.
These were Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and the mysterious Fifth Element or Quintessence that carried celestial influences into this world.
This idea remained influential until the time of Newton.

And Luc Besson too... the Fifth Element is still a great movie! (or Terry Pratchet, if you prefer the Fifth Elephant)
Wonderfully imaginative render, excellent.

Haven't seen that film for years - thanks for the reminder :-)
