Anglais (traduction automatique) Hello, and thank you for coming to visit me!
I live in the south of France, in the Tarn. I have always been passionate about images, especially photography (ah, black and white film ...).
For a few years, I created images with 3D software: Poser of course (Poser4 at the start ...), Cinema4D, Vue. You can see some of these images at the start of my gallery on Renderosity.
Then, with age and fatigue helping, I returned to my first graphic love: photography.
I especially like to show what is not always considered interesting: insects, animals that we meet without seeing them, and if possible to make a portrait of them that we enjoy seeing.
I also really like the architecture, especially religious, that I discover during my rare travels
My partner Danielle is also present on Renderosity, under the pseudo of Leije

The wings are similar to a lacewings. Could it be a member of the lacewing species?

It could be a kind of this one:"Myrmeleon acer". It's always interesting to find an unknown kind of insect, lucky you you could captured this one, my friend. Link from Wikipedia in French: I had posted a link but it's gone now. I'll try the Dutch link, you can search in French then.Myrmeleon

You're right, the resemblance is obvious, for the wings and also for the antennae! I also arrived at this determination by a means that I used for the first time: I photographed the image of the insect on my screen using the "Seek" application on my smartphone, I was very upset when there was a response! But on Wikipedia, there is very little information on this insect ... Thank you again for your interest in my work!

It is a beauty of nature for sure. Look at the sleek design and beautiful wings. We will have aircraft shaped the same someday.

His name is Phil. ;-p
Seriously, I have no idea, but this is a great capture.

I think it is a dragonfly with its wings folded back. It is super to come across a species one has never seen before and to be able to take a photo is double whammy! I used to be startled by the size of some dragonflies, until I had a close encounter with a praying mantis. Let's say, I am less startled since then... ;-)
