Tuppence being 2d, or 2 old pennies before those damned decimals struck - i.e. when there were still 240 pence to the pound, and a pint of beer was 1s8d and not three quid plus!
Being a reactionary I shall have engraved on my tombstone "Gimme me back me arfcrahn" ... plus a curse or two for the Govt!
Born 1939 and still living there ...
