Excellent work on this one Bill! My thought when I viewed this scene was, if grandpa and grandson both drive Corvette's...what does big daddy drive? Let me guess...another Corvette, but then again which one? Now that's a question to be answered another day, for now lets just admire this great scene where two generations have kept the love for cars alive! :-)

Grandpa has some great taste in the auto he drives. I wonder what Grandma thinks about it.

this and your 'dad showing up' image have a very tranquil feel. I can't put my finger on it, but it's there. Very evocative of a warm home gathering. Part of it is your people, and the open gestures. I also love those bright blue pants on Gramps (they make him stand out). Part of it is the light on that house---it's a classic wooden house, with the teardrop tiles on the top floors; as well as the trim, etc. And it's lit with beautiful highlights, w/out losing the gentleness of the light. And those cars are vivid and so clear---I love the blue corvette's reflection in the door. And a quiet clean house next door, and a gentle clouded sky...I don't know if you know the work of John Baeder, but some of your landscapes remind me of his paintings (they're very photographic---actually they have a lot in common with 3D work even though he started painting long before 3D existed). He captures a quiet joy and tranquilitiy even in old diners and from old b-and-w photos). You have that tranquility in a number of your pieces. Very sensitive work.
