Description
Another Deep Dream treatment of this companion scene to my previous gallery upload (Nefer 2).
Thankfully, I am feeling better but not well enough yet to dive into Daz--soon I hope. For my own sanity, Deep Dream Generator has been a godsend.
Thanks for the view and for any comments you'd like to share.

you made a note, in the original, that if it were a contemperaneous portrait, the columns would be new and painted with vivid hues...I fully appreciate that, but I love that she's vivid and new but the column is ancient...the juxtaposition is a bow to her now-ancient stature, or how she can stand from her own time but her surrounding has receded into antiquity. (I really like that.) She stands like a column, her highly singular posture is very straight and tall (emphasized by the long flow of her gown beneath the breasts, and the long sash or embroidery on the front of her gown) (i don't know which it is). The stone is all gray, and her head---in shadow---looks well beyond all of us, as if she's looking for the age that seems lost in her surroundings...
Your DDG version burst with yellows and deep reds, and pinks in her gown, etc. Her face is soaked in deep reds, and you've got an oil-paint quality once agian. The aged carvings in the pillar are made more organic, while the stone is a mix of yellows and mild pinks...and the background now bursts into wondrous overflowing cells and vines and curly-ques and butterfly-like plants and bows...In the original she stands under a break in the fronds (or leaves), but in the ddg version you've colored the leaves w/ rusts and reds around her head, to meet her so to speak. It's a rich dream, and the hues are very late-day and warm. (You know, we were talking about grad studies--in my grad studies we were compiling a catalogue of forms between several arts, and how they relate to archetypes beneath them all...your ddg version has the types of forms that we loved to work with, primal lines and cells which felt very organic and suggestive.) Beautiful transformation Barb.

Oh, man, I missed this one somehow. The original is actually one of my favorites ever and it looks awesome run through DDG.
