Description
"Judy Collins"
A Digitally Painted Portrait
I originally sketched a portrait of
Judy Collins (taking approximately
2 weeks to work out the details)
and was about to post it when I
decided to work on doing a digital
painting. This is the result. The
whole project took approx. 2 1/2 weeks
to complete.
I used a 5H pencil, .3, .5, and
.7 mechanical pencil for the sketch.
That is important because all of that
work gave me the depth to her hair.
I used PSP 7 for the digital painting,
with finishing touches in Corel. The
Frame, Rose, Corner Flowers and Bird
with Flowers are Tubes from PSP7.
