The creepiest and spookiest image I've ver seen but it's also the best one where the mood of the season is concerned.

A beautiful and refined image !!

This is a really great scene. I assume she has vorpal bullets? :)
I wonder if its worth kicking the contrast or gamma a tad, as some of those wonderful details are a bit hard to make out (could just be my old and rather tired iiyama)? or even a low intensity right rim light to pick out her face just smidge more?
paul_gormley
No, you are right Joe, I played with the curves a little bit in Pixelmator, but it looked a bit forced, I think the real answer is to do it again in DS and up the HDRI a bit, but as it took quite a while to render I chickened out :)

Very nice, though I agree wit Joe - a little more contrast might help with detail without wrecking the aura of the setting. Maybe even swinging the light around a little more to highlight the girl from the side? The Albert Mansion setting is pretty cool...

thanks J, looks like I may have to update this one :)

Nicely done! I would like to see a little more contrast, maybe, but overall an eye-catching image with a nice sense of foreboding.

Excellent work on this scene! I would recommend adding an extra light just above your character in the forefront, just so its more visible to the viewer. I find when working with HDRI image lighting that it sometimes does not provide all the lighting necessary to highlight the scene and additional lights are often necessary. Just a small boost in lighting and this image will look perfect my friend! :-)
paul_gormley
Many thanks Johnny, I will try that :)

Wicked awesome - looks like this came right out of "Temple of Doom!"
And I have to say I much prefer this fellow to that other demon currently calling this place home..
paul_gormley
lol, I have to agree with you about the other one
