Jack and Dash are really going to have to "dash" or they'll miss the train! And Mr. Wolf will have to re-write the whole chapter! LOL
This is fabulous, Bill! A wonderful homage to Wolf and his amazing story!

Yep, the train is almost out of the station. Now for Dash it won't be a great problem but Jack could entirely miss the caboose.

I love how you play around with wolf's wonderful characters. (I saw another dash image while looking through your recents.) An homage to one of our best creators here. And I've been looking through a number of your pieces---you get a very pastoral and loving feeling in your large landscapes---you have a feel for these large landscapes. You've also done a lot of fine work with trains...and your stations have a really fine array of people who go about their business without a concern for what's going on around them (the way a photo would). Fine choices, Bill. And you've got the caboose too. That dark red is a nice contrast too the many greens here. Fine, sweet work.

Just like an award-winning Childrens' Story. Remarkably crafted art Bill!

This is great. The conductor is going to have a big surprise when he sees his passengers. I've been in a working caboose before. Those windows on top are looking out from benches on top of a sorta big box you have to get to by climbing a ladder. There's a desk also in there for the conductor, a tiny little kitchen with a potbelly stove, and a bunk for the conductor. Sacramento has a great train museum, and even a working train, which was awesome watching the engineer prep the steam engine to roll. I was standing on the outside platform of a caboose watching the engineer pull a train in, he invited me to jump over and I got to drive the train into the shed for storage.
