I'm thinking they were hoping for AAA, not the Red Barron.

A superb composition that kind of reminds me of the scene of a movie by Alfred Hitchcock, in which a wrongly accused man is trying to escape a plane's pilot set on shooting and killing him from the skies. Well done !

Wow Bill...this must be one of those scene's that is left open to the viewer to interpret! lets see what we have here...there's a plane and a bird flying up above, two trucks on the road and lots of little animals running around in this well done desert scene!
My take on this scene! The plane is looking for two missing persons (the two drivers of these trucks) that were reported missing a week ago on this lonely stretch of road. It is rumored that they may have been victims of an Alien abduction! The little animals are running to see what all the commotion is about, as there seems to be two humans in desperate need of help in the predicament they find themselves in. I will leave the rest of the story open for any one to fill in, continue or not! "LOL" Excellent work on this scene my friend! :-)

Way to cool ! Awesome job ...lots to see here. Gotta wonder how it ends.

Nice scene, but be careful with the animals, between the plane which is on the trajectory of the bird and the others which cross the road without paying attention to the cars, that can end badly, LOL

Nice scene. Great colors. I've looked for a road like that among all my assets, but when I need one, I can never find it. If it is there at all!

I hope people are zooming your images, because the space and detail all fill out your images so well. Johnny's interpretation is rich...I like it. One can see this in a lot of ways! The original North by Northwest shots (which you're paying homage to) were midwestern---if I recall, they were Indiana?---but you've transplanted it to the desert, and it has a great desolate feel. I love the trucks which seem parked there (and you get this beautiful light on them), and that signature plane, with a big bird crossing by as if to keep that plane-driver from doing too much damage. And your canines---coyotes, wolves?---are either going to hurt the enemy or the victim. Lots of space here, and that rich brown for the foreground is beautiful. I really like your retake of the Hitchcock scene. A very arid, mysterious and appealing image.
