We are very proud to announce the winner of this months "Artist of the Month" - Ute Reichling [UteBigSmile]. Ute received nearly twice the number of votes from the Renderosity community for the Artist of the Month. She is a highly regarded artist and friend to many in the community. Ute works primarily with DazStudio and in Mixed Mediums, as you can see in her gallery. She is a talented and imaginative artist who creates evocative imagery which is often infused with themes of fantasy, science fiction, folklore and domestic scenes from history. Ute has contributed an astonishing 3,457 digital artworks since joining Renderosity in 2005.

I'm very happy to announce that after a week of voting Renderosity members have overwhelmingly chosen UteBigSmile as the Renderosity Artist of the Year! Ute is a strong member of the community having posted over 3,000 of her artworks to Renderosity galleries since she joined in 2005. She was chosen "Artist of the Month" for June, 2015 and works primarily with Daz Studio and Mixed Mediums. As we say in the States, "you really went all out on this one!" I love your total commitment to these two women: They're covered in blood, their outfits are torn, they have big threatening teeth, and their hair is all over their faces. They've obviously had a successful night...You placed them right around that mass of branches---nice composition. And the trees in the background are bent over and gnarled---fitting for the women's gnarled appearance. Also you've reddened the sides of your image---I assume to suggest 'blood' (that's what I think of, after looking at these women). And you've got one woman lunging, and one kneeling. A great macabre image---of two women I'll probably not have dinner with anytime soon...Great job on them, and the background is both creepy and very lush.
I'm at over 80 minutes now, and I must go, unfortunately. (I have to get to the store and do other errands soon.) It's always a great treat to sit and comment on your art. You have a cornucopia here, a carnival, and it's always a joy. I hope you feel better, and get over the flu. Stay healthy and well, both you and Rene, and i wish you both a fine November.
