Description
The original was placed into the gallery earlier this year (03/06/21). This is probably my favorite DDG rendition. It will also be my last for awhile, because I must get something going for Halloween :)
Thanks for the view and for your comments...appreciate your support...

the textures are just astonishing, like a growth of some weird alien skin. 5++ on your manip from original.

Great harmony between your render and your work in DDG, wonderful image, Barbara! Have a beautiful sunday, my friend!

I must admit the finish on this is superb Barbara. That still doesn't make up for the fact that your skill as an artist shines through on this very lovely piece before any manipulation was added.

A great and colorful rendition of this fellow, Barb. I sometimes feel like I'd love to take on his lifestyle....
Super fun!

This hermit has a lot of presence and charisma, thanks to your reprocessing him through your creative eye and the technicalities of DDG. Well done !

the original was in reddish brown and sepia tones, and it had a beautiful 'late autumn' feel (even though you posted it in March), with a man who'd been in a long time and hadn't seen much taylight. Maybe he's looking for help (because of his outstretched hand). Huanting and fun at the same time, w/ beautiful reddish tones throughout.
In the DDG version, it becomes a tapestry---I can see why you it was a favorite of yours. The colors change all over the place, and everything is a different patch, a different bunch of growths, all packed together. Great reds (shoes, ears, in the tree, etc), real clarity of detail, and contrasts. If this is your last for a while, you went out w/ a bang. You'd said you were tired, some uploads ago, I hope your're doing well and getting whatever rest you need. And enjoying the fall...I always remembered that area as having beautiful colors...

HA! I've been binge looking at images the last couple of days and several times I was going to make a comment on some image and I noticed that you had already commented exactly what I was going to write...kind of a weird Deja vu, so I thought I would come look at your art. WOW, it's like an acid bath of color. I'm really into color and your stuff is like hallucinogenic Walt Disney,,,super cool. Cheers!
