Just a bit of fun in between TNA pages.
I always enjoy reading Mark's insightful comments ( I love reading everyone's, actually). He sees stuff in my posts that I didn't even see when I was creating them. And his insights and comments are - like his writing - full of wonderful humor.
In one of my recent posts, he said: "Take breaks, go down to your Collider, talk to the sub-atomics (sounds like a rock band, doesn't it?), have coffee with them, exchange work stories.." There's a running joke between Mark and me about me having a small hadron collider in my basement. I got tickled at the 'sounds like a rock band' part, so I HAD to do something with it! So here you go... The official Sub-Atomics rockin' ladies in concert!
Enjoy, everyone - and remember, Mark - We bring your imagination to life here in the RodS studio - right next to the collider room!

I love this! This is a cool and rockin' girl band. I especially like that you took something Mark said and made a fun scene; I did that with my last render, too. Mark always leaves such detailed and fun comments that they sometimes lead to vivid ideas like this awesome scene. Good poses, outfits and stage set-up... bravo!

Reminds me of when I played as a guest artist at the Memphis Bar in Dallas! The girls were nowhere near as pretty as your accomplished band of musical prodigies!

first, thank you SO much for doing this for me---it's terrific, Rod! (And for your very kind words too---I greatly appreciate them! After last week, this was a great start to a new week for me---Gracias!) When you said you were gonna 'do' something, I knew it'd be first rate; but I didn't know you were gonna do this! This is a real scene from a super flashy rock group! I worked with some young rock groups years back (I did sound engineering and helped with chords, synths, etc---ie, I didn't perform), and I know how much appearance matters in that genre: You GOT it here! You got the look!!! This is terrific! Great poses, each pose is very different, you have the guitar and mike in great positions relative to the musicians, the layout is terrific, the outfits are pure 100% young rock stuff (ie, with chrome-like hues, great highights, great hues, those pigtails would get the audience screaming, and you have mushroom clouds in the background, with deep reds and yellows...and the drummer's head is right in the center of that Niel Bohr atom, and the light beams are perfect behind your players...) If this were a real rock group, this would be their album cover. Great job on this---you weren't messing around! I'm glad my little joke brought this out of you...even the drums are perfectl between the front musicians; and those are great hairstyes! Dynamite, Rod, and thank you---ya made my week!
