I'm in the mists of moving back home with my dearest mom. She will be released on Tuesday and will need help for the rest of her life. Going to be difficult and a huge sudden change for us both. I so need all your prayers during this difficult time.
She will need to wear a back brace for at least 6 more weeks.
So much more to say but won't bore you with long story.

even if it creates changes in our life, we must say to ourselves that it is for the people who are dear to us, that we sacrifice a little of our life, but it does not matter as long as they are present

That cold, empty stare plus that dark and spooky carriage means I will run the other way. She sure is beautifully creepy and that outfit is absolutely gorgeous; the deep red is perfect with all that black.
Good luck with your transition to care giver. My first advise is to set up a place/room just for you; a place you can retreat to and call your own, even if it's in Mom's house. Surround yourself with your things. It will be your home now, too, so make it comfortable for you. I'm sending lots of love and understanding and an ear if you need one.

A very fitting image here, Steve. Sometimes it does seem like life is sending up a dark carriage to ride in. I know I've felt that way for some time now.. But nothing like what you and your dear mom are dealing with. You do have my prayers, buddy, and as many positive thoughts and energies as I can send your way. Hopefully this will be a positive change for you both.
