It's amazing that you've still posted regularly in the week in which you made such a huge move (and are dealing with so much at home). (I will get back to you by monday, Steve, i promise.)
I'm glad you have so much resolve to do this---ie, during such a tumultuous time. This is beautiful---strangely green and luminous: There's light on her hair and on the snakes, they glow...and you've given a green tint to her skin too, and there are snake motifs all over her. The snakes have such clarity, they're so sharp. This is beautiful. And the background is green as well, but darker, more mysterious. Like she can conjure moods at the drop of a hat. Beautifully done, Steve. (I had to look up "herping"---I'd never heard that word before! It comes from the same word-root as "herpes"---because they both meant "crawling and creeping" originally.) A very impressive image.
