Description
Jose and Maria had just got into town. The came because Jose was to start a new job there. When they reached town their car broke down and the hotel had double booked their room. Seeing that Maria was pregnant, the owner of the garage looked the other way and let them stay the night there.
In the middle of the night, Maria went into labor. The had no transportation and the phone was locked up in the office. She gave birth in the old garage, wrapped him in a towel and used an old tire for a bed.
A few blocks away the sanitation workers were out doing their job when the skies lit up and an immense crowd were singing of a great happening. The workers in terror started to run. When one of the singers stopped them and told them of the great news: "The son of God has been born this night in Dave's Garage." They went at once to see this wonder.
On the east side of town there is a small shanty town. Some of the dwellers there understood at once that something momentous had happened. They left and made the trek into town following the light. When they found the garage they were in awe and gave what they had; all of the money they had collected in the previous days, a boxed meal from a local shelter and their best blanket.
Meanwhile the town slept.
May you recognize the Lord in everything you do and everywhere you go.
Note: This was my first 3d project in 7 years. I used to use Pov Ray with the DOS text editor. The tech has sure come a long way. And I still have a lot to learn.

You know, I almost hate to post a comment on this image. 2.5 years with nothing said has got to be some kind of record. I guess no one ever browses the C4D gallery? Or else everyone was so intimidated by your saying you did this with some kind of text editor that they freaked right out. This is lovely, both the render and the idea behind it. Any chance of seeing something more modern????
