I like the idea and the lighting but it all seems a bit foggy to my eye, even inside of the care where I would expect things to appear much sharper. You're definitely making progress with the shader and I like the framing of the picture and the subject.

I love you too, brilliant. It doesn't seem foggy, it is foggy and the car's interior is within the foggy volume. The sharper the image is, the less particles in the air to scatter the light. Try to think of photographers shooting in England versus another much drier location. In England, a pretty dim light coming from clouds, they provide a pretty dim global light that scatters through the dense wet atmosphere, thus a portrait will appear smoother in such light. People trying to shoot with the same camera, the same lenses and settings in a drier location will not get that smooth lighting, they may get sharper shadows though. Basically, this is how the shader was implemented; it can also have control on how much energy particles will scatter. Usually most render engines after the first ray hit, they can hardly control or are fully unable to control the position, energy and the distance for the next hit. This for short spells biiiig trouble to compute more advanced, realistic effects (this is just my opinion, it might be 1000% wrong as well, do not rely on it, always double check it.). I hope I'm not extremely boring.
