A title from a movie made in the 50's or early 60's I think about large ants that terrorized a small town.

Awesome image, Steve!! I luv the background....it looks so genuine.....its the perfect background for that incredible looking big guy....and his tough looking gal pal.....they make quite a team!! It makes me wonder what they are doing there......are they guarding that place, or what? Cool piece of artwork, Steve!! I likey!!! I don't remember that movie about giant ants terrorizing a small town......I remember when I was a kid, my brother and I would terrorize the ants...we would catch some ants.....then look for spider webs, and we would throw an ant on the web, and watch the spider spin it's web around the ant....then it would proceed to devour the poor ant......the ant never stood a chance against the spider! 'lol'!

Heh. Nothing to do with the movie which I well remember seeing at the theater when I was a little girl.
As for the art, I like the retro future overall appearance of the characters and particular the background. Thank you for sharing!

I don't know too many ants who can fend off two people like this (even giant ants). Your female has a really heavy looking sword, and her companion has one of the all time great mallets in history. We've seen him before in your gallery, and he's one huge dude! I love his outfit and massive torso. I take it these two are a team. Your background is an ancient temple, and fits the feel of the two awarriors. A powerful piece with great details...and you captured a moment of repose, before the ants come out full force. A real "right before the battle" mood. Finely done, once more.
