Excellent whimsy! Reminds me of the frim of Robinsons of Worcester who painted all their trucks pink back in 2009 after the owner's 2 yo daughter chose the colour!

Au gros camion, stéréotype de la masculinité, il fallait bien opposer un autre stéréotype de la féminité. Tout cela n'est pas sérieux, traduire l'expression des relations humaines en images demande plus de nuances.

you're right. your comment, reminds me of this film by Joseph Losey, the boy with the green hair from 1948. This parable on racism and tolerance, shows that the strength of a color raises very deep questions about the identity we give to human beings and things.
