Description

Hi Everyone, I know this isn't a normal image for honoring all who served and put their lives on the line for their fellow humans...but just once I wanted to produce something filled with lights-of-gratitude for all who went through so much. A family friend once said: "Sometimes I wish the sky would put out all its lights and colors for us...to make us feel remembered and special for everything we saw..." He was in WWII. This is my pale attempt at honoring his request. I hope it isn't too bright for all of you who served: It's meant with love and great honor, and nothing less. A bow of humility and gratitude---a day late---in the hope that such sacrifices will never be asked-for again. What a beautiful work of art to honor all those that served! The colors are just right and no need to worry about striking the right tone...your series of photos are splendid and captures the mood so well! Its never to late to honor those which have given so much of their life's to maintain freedom and liberty for all my friend. Your art work is excellent Mark! Have a great weekend my friend! :-)

Nice work offering "All the lights and colors" This is a wonderful tribute to the people who have served. The sky is always watching and your images show it off. The dark sky slowly gathering love as it spreads rainbow colors splashing across the scenes. If the sky completely ruled the world, this is how it would show off. Well done, this looks great!

This is a beautiful and stunning way to honor you friend's request of the sky, and to honor all who have served in war and peace. My dad served 20 years in the US Air Force - beginning at the Army Air Corps in WW 2. It was my honor to serve 1968 - 1972. I didn't want to make a career of it, but I did want to serve - it was an honor.

May those lights shine on all those who serve as beautifully as in your wonderful image, Mark!
