I always wanted to take a trip on the 66. There still seems to be plenty to see although I wish I had done it forty years ago when the re were still some old cars around. Great photography and thanks for sharing.

I'm skipping around only so I can get a variety of your images (everything you post is worth a comment). You have a talent for capturing lone buildings as if they were the only thing for miles around. You know just where to stand, how to crop, the light you want, etc. This is a wonderful shot of an old restaurant/bar, with great bleaching sunlight, and a feeling---despite the cars---of abandonment. i love the bright reds. And the rusticated stone (with a sheer smoothed-brick upper storey!) It feels like it's sitting on an island. A wonderful "out west" feeling, and the light is perfect.
