Description
I was very careful taking pictures of this devil in a yellow jacket. I have been bitten before by one and it is no fun what so ever. the man that cut my tree down in the backyard got bitten by one. luckily he was on the ground instead of at the top of the tree. several times painting very tall homes, myself or painters would discover nests after being at the top of 32 feet or 36 feet ladders. then trying to spray them without getting bitten was a challenge

We had a nest of these buggers in our ceiling a couple years ago. We both got stung - no fun at all. Finally got rid of them, thankfully. Very cool shot!

When a bee stings you, leaves a barbed stinger behind and dies... wasps, on the other hand, have a smooth stinger they can sting you multiple times and fly away, come back the next day and sting you some more LOL! Beautiful photo!

I love bees. Wasps I don't like at all.
