Description
the owner/driver was at a mall parking lot I suppose to get people to go to the races. I grabbed the opportunity to take some captures. I have video of this car as well as one in California but have not been able for gmail to see the files. I will take my card out soon to copy both manually.
this car brought back memories of when I was part of a racing team and hearing the exhaust while they were driving 195mph or faster.

in Austin, TX at a small track I was right at the wall barrier taking pictures. especially of a Mazda with a rotary engine(he could pass cars with V8's in the corners, but they could blow him off on the the straight parts of the track)( the Mazda driver also had a VW Beetle race car, and I saw him race at Monterrey, Mexico. every time the driver would back off on fuel fire would shoot out of the exhaust. but the place where I had my film developed lost or the pictures were stolen. out of 10 rolls, I only got 6 back. they offered me free developing, but I said a big no thank you. thanks for your comments

Nice to see hit before it hits the dirt ...or something else lol Great catch

I would imagine that the driver must be hit many times by flying dirt clogs with no windshield or door windows

Great shot of this racing machine, Richard! They do tend to be a bit loud!

Awesome car, that speed means more than 314 kmph, definitely a speed for professionals.
