Description


The newly built Galileo II, in transport by the scout ship Faerie Queen, checks out the shadow side of an asteroid (that's why the stars are occluded on the left side of the image) in one of my Star Trek fanfics. Personal note: I really like creating these astronomical scenes with spaceships of my own and others' design. I try to create them to scale. planets and ships their true relative sizes, This is a Vue render of imported Poser resources. In addition, the asteroid was modeled, running lights added to the model, and model textures were modified in Vue.

That's nice to know, since I basically grew up drawing spaceships and submarines, thanks to Fireball XL-5, Lost in Space, Star Trek, and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea...
