Description

Leaving the clank head maid frozen with her activation instructions deleted the two pirates struggled with the inert body wrapped in the bedspread. They ascended toward their waiting vacuum zeppelin. "Good job she's still out colder than a mackerel on ice!" the taller pirate crowed. The shorter, struggling with Lilja's legs replied, "Still too easy to drop. We drop her and she dies and we lose a lot of money. Have a care! Have a care!" Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.619 with the Superfly Cycles 2 rendering engine. The location is Blue Tree Studio's modular mansion. The Skydome and manor grounds are by Flink. The taller air pirate is based on the Dawn mesh with shape and texture by Tempesta3d. The shorter air pirate is based on good ol' V4 also with shape and texture by Tempesta3d. Their gear is from DAZ.

Thank you, my dear! I am not finished with Lilja Darkstar and Sonja Steelsinger by a long shot (and I am adding in the Professora and her merry band).

Gorgeous steam-punk composition. Great light transmission with the emissive window lights, brilliant render.
Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it!

Thanks, Marius! As you know I struggle with lighting in dimly let scenes and this was meant to portray earliest daybreak as the sun is about to rise.

the dastardly varmints, no doubt they will receive their true deserts at some point: looks really good graphically with the bright sky and window against the silhouette of the building

Thanks, Paul! I meant to imply a rising sun at the end of the night as the "varmints" make off with their captive. I appreciate the comment as I always have difficulty with scenes taking place in reduced lighting.

That is very creepy. The air pirates wrapped her up and captured her. I like your thrilling picture. Regards Anne

very colorful - think I'd have upped lowered the exposure a little and upped Poser's version of 'crush blacks' to bring out a few more details in the roof. without losing the lovely contrast with the sky...:)

Heh. I have no idea how to accomplish that but I'll look into it. It sounds like a combination of rendering settings and materials. Certainly food for thought! I appreciate such comments as they always help me to try new things. Thank you so much!
