Description
She bound from her hidden position within the shadows; moving up the shallow mourners steps rapidly. He peered from behind the column where he had been concealed. Their faces reflected the smile and joy of the other as she rushed into his open arms.
Passion burned as strong within them as their love for each other. But this evening, it was mingled with a desperate fear as well.
"The day has come." His voice was lowered as he stared into her eyes.
