I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

excellent - wonderfully done

Thanks!

Sorry to hear of your mother - been there.
Been there with the pinups too. I have several scenes underway and can't raise steam including a steampunk which will likely end up a gothic.
Your girl has a pretty substantial weapon there. No room for a scabbard, which might make portage tricky unless she can risk scratching her booty...:)
I'm with you on the 'naughty' poses. When I purchase or create a new character I run him/her through their paces using naughties to test the bones. They do hold up pretty well, though the textures in the nether regions can become distorted - never likely to be an issue for me.
Keep at it when you can and stay strong. Bit of a trope but it fits.

Considering I've purchased just about every scabbard asset that's been produced, it does feel odd to pretend as if toting that big thing around wouldn't be a problem. Of course, could be she had it slung on her back and she left it on shore... There's some room to figure it out.
But yeah. When for appealing. I think. The background (behind the rendered environment) is a picture of an Oregon mountainside. That was fun to add.
The folks making dirty pose sets seem to put a lot more effort into not breaking joints, which I can appreciate.

Dang - If she can wield that bit of slicing iron, I'm sure not gonna give her a hard time... Awesome work here, good sir!
