I don't usually do full on FANTASY pinup. Usually when I'm doing fantasy I'm either doing a character portrait or an illustration or a book cover. Decided to make a bit of an exception here. Had an image in my head, and went with it. I guess pinups are my fall back when I'm in a creative slump, lol. I have to say I was inspired by a miniature I've seen floating around the internet. I'm actually hoping to track down one for my collection eventually, but for now I'll just let it inspire this. A few details. The pose is by Synful Mindz. Most of the NSFW poses I've purchased I picked up for mostly SFW-type art. Or because it was on sale. This is a couples pose from a set of lesbian poses, repurposed quite well I think. One thing I like about these poses is that they general don't break the model, making them easy to repose. I did have this really elaborate steampunk image I was working on most of the day the other day, off and on. Using the same River environment. I wrestled with it for hours to make it work. I have to say I'm not a fan of the Daz Steampunk Horse. The saddle has no bones in order to repose the stirrups. I don't know why I keep expecting them to do better. Here we have Centaur 8.1, and it's STILL using the Daz Horse 2 base model. Anyway, you don't get to see that image because Daz Studio crashed and after working on it ALL day, I had forgotten to save the file. Then again, I had reason to be distracted. And I haven't been sleeping well. Today, Mom is having surgery again, this time to have a pacemaker installed. She supposedly will be home tomorrow, but I'm uneasy to have her home so soon after surgery. I had her home Friday. She was home for three hours before I had to call an ambulance again. She'd had a tiny heart attack. It's very stressful. She also wants to take a 3 hour drive to see her sister this week (who is in her final days) and I have to be the bad guy that says NO. So. Distractions. I did finish the novel I was writing, so I've got that done. I have been making SOME art, so that's good. Just doing what I can to hang in there until a new normal is established.
