I don't doubt that you are aware of the cane corso, a species of dog known for its fierceness and used by the ancient Romans in warfare. They are still around, making excellent guard dogs and intimidating the neighbours!

You are correct, I was not aware of that particular breed of dog. I’m going to have to learn more about them now. I love dogs and need to learn more about them. We’ve had basset hounds for many years now and those I do know. : -) Thanks so much for the nice words.
