Description
I drove one that belonged to a dealer where I was delivering parts. I was doing almost anything to earn a living waiting for a drafting position to open up.

I'd love to have one of these

My brother's future wife had one of the last Corvair convertibles. It was a lovely shade of lavender.

all that space just for a wheel, not going to get much in their I think... interesting design

It is said that the design of this car was a total failure. Various problems and especially a rough handling, but I like its design.

the one I drove was fine. handled very well. hard to judge critics for honesty. 4Runners has a bad rep for being rough riding. the suspension is strong to avoid damage to the frame. the critics should buy a Cadilac SUV for comfort instead of an offroad vehicle.
I read bad remarks about Jeeps being rough riding. I have never drove on, so I do not know

Great job on this one Richard...I am always amazed by how you get to visit such wonderful sites where all the cars are kept! :-)

My mom had a Corvair way back when.. It was a dark maroon color, and she loved it.

My dad has had 5 of these. The last one was dark blue convertible with a white interior. He loved freaking out the grocery boys, making them walk to the front of the car. LOL
