Today something really sharp. ;-)
The Samurai Katana - High Poly 3D model was created by Rafael Benedicto on Cgtrader and was originally designed for Autodesk 3ds Max.
Imported to Blender and rendered with Cycles.

Geez! It looks like a photograph taken in natural light which I'm guessing was your intent! Simple but very realistic. Cycles is pretty wonderful with the right materials and lighting which takes some experience and taste! You've got both, Norbert!
