after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

Impressive awesome composition, Crow fits the gothic style like gloves. Wonderful details - I love those veins on her face - perfectly fits the scene atmosphere, a most brilliant render.
Magnificent Mastrpiece of Finest Arts. I love it! I'm happy for the good news about your dear mom.

Nice work, she looks good. You placed her in a black outfit and yet she stands out perfectly.
Good news about your mom's back brace at home, I'm sure she will be more comfortable. My Mom had spinal injections for a while and then she decided it wasn't worth it so she stays in the wheelchair now. I hope they help your mom so she can keep walking.

When I was in high school my mother had major back surgery and had to wear a full torso brace with thick steel stays - for a very long time. When she finally went back to work, she had to wear it on the job too. These things are scary, and need so much help while recovery is taking its own sweet time. I am sure you both have developed a lot of patience in this time. 🥰

A really beautiful spooky image, Steve. Great work with that black outfit and cape. And she has almost empty eyes---very spooky. Once again, you've worked marvels with dark light---that's hard to do, but you do it all the time.
And that stone hall shes in is so dark, get we can still see all the detail in the balustrades and stone. And you have that little bit of foggy night seeping through.....Terrific. Another first rate dark-spirit image from you.
