Fauci says early reports about omicron variant are encouraging
Omicron means it’s time to switch to N95 masks. I have trouble breathing with regular masks, and I have been told by health professionals that N95 is far worse for breathing, not forgetting they are very expensive
The omicron variant is spreading fast. According to the World Health Organization, at least 38 countries, on six continents, have confirmed cases of the new variant. There is still quite a bit we don’t know about omicron—including whether it is more contagious than delta, and if it is more likely to escape vaccine protection.
U.S. health officials said Sunday that while the omicron variant of the coronavirus is rapidly spreading throughout the country, early indications suggest it may be less dangerous than Delta, which continues to drive a surge of hospitalizations

Excellent photo for the story. A bit apocalyptic but it fits.

Very nice picture, but the information is chilling, the governments and the WHO seem to be wading in the mud and do not know how to fight this new virus, once again we must wait ...

An excellent sky shot, those rays are beautiful.
At this point, just do what you can do to stay safe. Shots, boosters, masks (two paper/disposable masks or one paper and one cloth mask aren't too bad to breathe in) Keep distances and disinfect your hands. We're all in this together, Richard. ((hugs))

A fantastic shot of this sunset, Richard! It reminds us that someday, the clouds will part and the light will come through again.
