Cursed with a thirst for blood, infertility and immortality, many Ancients took their own lives in anguish over being cut off from their their god and the wheel of fate. Many more were lost to the vampire crusades of the Sarafan. One of the last, a lone guardian stands watch to protect the Aerie. --- Another one I started years ago, and never finished on account of the windows in the sanctuary. Facebook reminded me of it's existence, and since I finally picked up some stained glass shaders, I finished it.
