My day-time job consists of Design and Illustration for commercial printing for the past 35 years, I started at the age of 15, doing Illustration for screen printing. I do all my creation work in Carrara 3 and export Objects to poser for use there. I started doing 3D with Adobe Dimentions 1.0 and poser 1.0. I switched to Corel's Dream 3d when I had the chance and forgot about poser until I received a notice that I could upgrade from from 1 to 5, which caught my interest. I do take requests and can be contacted here or by email mappsman@hotmail.com.

In skilled and appreciative hands, V4 will always look good. Excellent render.

thank you glad you like it :-)

She does look good and your talent keeps her so. This action pose is wonderful, she looks strong and ready to protect what needs protecting. The lighting is great, too. Well done.

Thank you so much :-)

V4 has so many magnificent characters made for her, I really miss her, but she doesn't run perfectly for me in P12; there was a fix for the "no blink" morph problem and of course I failed to make a note of how to do it--it was a simple import of a missing pz2 file but..which one... XD. I think we all have gigs of stuff for her too!
mapps
I would not like to even try to figure out what I have for her. She still works well in poser 11 though :-)

Great action pose!
Tons of V4 morphs and clothes in my runtimes too, no other female model can match her variety of characters in Poser.
mapps
Thank you and yes she has more clothes in her closet then Barbie :-)
Richardphotos
outstanding action pose and she makes a beautiful warrioress
I would be content using V4 if I could get Poser 11 or12 to work on my desktop. I changed antivirus software, so maybe soon I will try again.
mapps
Ya anitvirus can be as harmful as helpful some times. hope you have all working again soon :-)

V4 has many more years of use ahead of her, esp. if you use one of the weight mapped versions! My favorite is the S-16 version by Karina, which has all kinds of nifty dials to do things a regular V4 can't, like easy posing of the hips and hands. I'm posting this kinda late, and I'm going to send lwperkins site mail about how to fix V4's no blinking problem, but if anyone else wants to know the fix, message me. I saved it from a forum many years ago!
mapps
Thanks :-) Never used the S-16 not sure what it is. :-)

There are several weight-mapped versions of V4, as indicated on this V4 Utilities freebies page, and I've tried all of them. If you just want straight-up weight mapping (which dramatically improves how her joints bend), then the one by Nerd3D is the easiest to use. I can't find his site right now, but surely the files still exist somewhere!
Karina's version, dubbed Sasha-16 b/c he first set her up in 2016 (and Sasha is a common Ukrainian woman's name), has good weight-mapping, but that's only one of the many improvements he made. He improved just about everything I ever wanted to be improved in V4, and all without altering the original OBJ. (The package does come with a new CR2, as there are a bunch of new dials and some are reorganized.) The easy posing dials and "eyebeams" are super handy. If you try her, you definitely should read through the HTML manual Karina includes b/c it explains a few things about how she poses and how to get clothes to fit (which is as simple as selecting the clothing item and using Figure->Copy Joint Zones From...)
Karina was going to do an "improved" version of M4 too, but I think other things (and now the war) have put those plans on hold indefinitely. He did a crazy amount of work, and I wish more people knew about it!

Thanks :-)
