Description
Poser - Bryce - Alien plant models - Petipet - Planet Glise 2 - DAZ. All my own textures, except eyes and eyelashes - all 3D no post. A whole new level of textures here. I am experimenting. 😄
One of the Underground Shamans - and my (alien 😻) Christmas Card this year
In every world there is a celebration of the Spirit of Christmas. Only on other worlds they celebrate in ways different from ours, and they call it something else.
Their symbols for this Spirit don’t look like our symbols, yet Life and Joy - and stories of Holy Ones are commemorated - and Light, Truth, and Love, known by other names - are honored and rejoiced over.
This Shaman carries what we would call the Spirit of Christmas. This One calls it something like . . . true Deity loves us all.
This Shaman’s gift to others - is to remember - that this Love is always present - no matter how humble the space may be that we are able to make for it.

I bought some models very specifically to make a cute or funny Christmas card this year . . . but this happened instead. Oh well . . . maybe next year. Big smiles to you this Christmas, anyway. Hope you have a lot of them!

Your image is washed through with primal patterns...at first they look like motherboards and other structures inside of things...but on second look, they're like the patterns at the base of life itself...I mean molecular patterns, cellular patterns from way-way down...and you give them all a patina of exquisite brass and gold...the brass is tarnished to that characteristic green and blue, and the gold is just plain gold. Your background is almost a desert---as if this came from some ancient Near Eastern king or queendom, with gold towers rising out of the sands; and high structures containing real mysteries. And your shaman is like a huge receptive antennae, made of rare metals and jewels, and receiving messages from way out in the universe, and broadcasting them to us. (This is just my impression, this could be many things to many people...) And the light in the center of her headdress is like the north star or the light at the top of christmas trees. Serene and beautiful, with a patina of old rare jewels, and a sky of pregnance and promise. (I luvvv those deep salmon reds on the right of your image...dawn is coming...) A beautiful and fresh christmas card. Let me add that "alien" comes from the same root as "alias," which means "another name for something..." Meaning: It may be different from what we're used to, but it's just another way of saying the same thing....I wish you much peace and light in this season, and all others to come. A very fresh, touching holiday wish, Rose. Same to you in all ways.
