This modern version of the Arnolfini portrait works brilliantly; I particularly I like the way you have extrapolated from the mirror in the portrait (which always seems to me to be a key element of its composition) which now is itself is reflected in the modern looking glass, also the way the oranges, slippers and house pet are retained, but more contemporary...along with that now ubiquitous accessory of 21st century life...
The green and red is also a serendipitous palette for the holiday season 😆

Quand ma pratique était essentiellement liée au modèle réduit, j'adorais dissimuler dans mes maquettes des mini miroirs qui apparaissaient quand le spectateur manipulait la maquette pour essayer d'en découvrir plus de détails. Il se retrouvait alors pris au piège de son reflet, le regard comme enfermé dans l'espace du modèle. :)
